Banded Reporting Writer
QBICFlex also comes standard with band reporting
engine/toolbox with complex logical and embedded report
functionality. Eliminate the need for a third party
reporting engine such as Crystal Report and the associated
support cost.
Management can track how productive their organization is in
responding to corrective and preventive maintenance issues.
QBICFlex stores requestor, asset location, vendor, response
time, repair time, labor and material cost, as well as
resolution information about each work order. With this data
and our band reporting engine you can analyze your
maintenance history, minimize downtime, improve safety,
generate regulatory documentation, reduce inventory loss,
tighten up the budget process, and increase productivity.
The reporter data engine can
handle arbitrarily complex table relationships including
parent, child, grandchild, and great-grandchild
relationships. You can even define circular relationships; a
table can be related back into itself. Tables and
relationships are managed graphically making complex queries
easy to understand. After you have specified and configured
your data source, the process of creating a report is the
same regardless of which data source(s) is used. The
reporter's design interface is event driven and user centric
making it easy to customize the report until the output
looks just the way you like.
Reports are created by drawing
objects in the report design window. Reporter supports line,
rectangle, ellipse, text, field, image, graph, and embedded
section objects. Report objects can be customized with
borders, shading, colors, fonts, and shadows to create
professional looking reports. Because Reporter is a banded
report writer, it provides incredible flexibility for
formatting and grouping information. Reporter provides a
series of bands that allow you to control where and when
information gets printed on your report Reporter also
supports sections. Sections are essentially sub-reports that
print within the context of the main report. Each section
contains its own set of bands and report objects. Reporter
supports three (3) different report types: standard listing
reports, columnar/label reports and cross-tab reports. Each
report has a dedicated wizard that allows you to easily
specify the information necessary to create a report.
Preventive Maintenance
We believe our preventive
maintenance modules is one of the most unique and
powerful in the industry. Our preventive maintenance
module allows you to quickly and easily build a database
of regularly occurring preventive maintenance tasks. Up
to seven (7), including daily PM schedules can be
associated with each components. Setup is as easy
as assigning a component to a schedule, or as involved
as determining:
- What
work needs to be done for each PM schedule
- Where
the asset is located
- What
tools are required
- What
spare parts are required
- Which
shop is assigned PM
- What
black out dates are assigned to PM
- What
charge back accounts and sub accounts
-
What PM's should be combined/looped (location, skill
set, type of equipment etc,) together in order to
improve your PM implementation workflow.
-
What inspection/check list or attached word
document, CAD drawing or web link should print with
the PM ticket.
Operating Environment
QBICFlex is a three-tier client server architecture that is
also ASP enabled. The database and application ties can run
on the most common enterprise OS platform and on MS SQL and
Oracles database platforms, or operate on low maintenance
database platform such as dBase. The ASP concept provides
the ability to access the product over the wide area network
or Internet.
